Kenwood TS-2000 SDR / Panadapter IF Interface Kit

This kit is designed around Doug Hall's Kenwood TS-2000 IF Buffer circuit as outlined in his article, "Softrock Interface to Kenwood TS-2000". The buffer allows the IF of the TS-2000 to be tapped without loading the IF amplifier, and also isolates any external circuits to prevent interference from being fed back into the IF. There are many options available, but the use of the SoftRock SDR 30 is common. Adding the external SDR to the TS-2000 is an inexpensive way to expand the capability of your TS-2000, and an introduction to Software Defined Radios.

• Kit includes professionally manufactured PCB, as well as all necessary parts, components, and cables
• All component locations are silk screened on the top layer of the board for easy assembly
• Basic soldering skills and tools are required (not included with kit)
• Please note that this kit includes only the buffer circuit. You will still need to provide a SDR, and clock for the SDR that suit your application
